Hurry! e-voucher scheme is scheduled to end 31/03/10

If you are a Pre-start, Start up business or in your first year of trading you may be eligible for an e-voucher from Business Link in the East of England

The voucher entitles you for up to £130 worth of free, professional advice provided by SP Design.

About Business Link e-Vouchers

• Start-Up Voucher = £130

  For individuals who have not yet started their business (Pre-Start) and who have not previously received a Voucher

• Business Advice Voucher = £70

  For individuals who have not yet started their business and may have benefited from a Start-Up Voucher OR for those businesses who are in their first year of trading (and have not previously been in receipt of a Business Advice Voucher

Obtaining your e-voucher

You will need to contact Business Link in the East of England (Tel: 08457 17 16 15) and ask to speak to a Business Link adviser about claiming a start-up voucher.

Amongst other things they will want to know the following:

• Have you started trading?

  To be be eliglble for the Start-up Voucher you will need to be pre-start up
  You can claim the Business Advice Voucher if you are in your first year’s trading

• Have you got a business plan?

  If you do not already have a business plan, Business Link will probably want you to attend one of their courses before issuing a voucher.

Remember a business plan only needs to be very rudimentary at the pre-start phase – visit entrepreneur.com for some guidance on creating your own business plan.
